How to care for Elephant Ear Colocasia:
- Plant in well-draining soil enriched with organic matter, and water regularly to keep the soil consistently moist, but not waterlogged.
- Place in a location with partial to full shade, as Elephant Ears prefer indirect sunlight or dappled shade to prevent leaf scorching and promote healthy growth.
- Feed with a balanced fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season to support vigorous growth and lush foliage, and protect from strong winds to prevent damage to the large leaves.
- Provide adequate spacing between plants to allow for proper air circulation and prevent overcrowding, which can lead to fungal diseases and pest infestations.
